On November 10th, Takihyo Co., Ltd., a textile trading company founded in 1751 (Headquarters: Nishi-ku, Nagoya, Representative Director, President and CEO: Kazuo Taki), launched a new original men’s brand from New York, “ “Little planet.” I did.
With a tagline of “non-pro technology,” Minor Planet is not an athlete who climbs Everest or runs a full marathon in under two hours, but he enjoys running in Brooklyn in the early morning and surfing small waves in the Rockaways. This is a brand that offers sustainable and classic designs for all sports lovers living in the city.
Jason Levine, former men’s designer for iconic New York brand Rag & Bone, co-directed and worked with us to create the brand.
The first collection includes T-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants and other items that are easy to incorporate not only into sportswear but also into fashion.
To commemorate the brand’s debut, a pre-launch event was held at Nepenthes in New York on November 10, and in Japan, a pop-up event was held at PORTER OMOTESANDO and a debut event at Pilgrim Surf + Supply stores in Shibuya and Kyoto. .
In the future, we will begin to expand widely in New York and Japan.
