Tango Gameworks, developer of “Psycho Break,” “Ghostwire: Tokyo,” and “Hi-Fi RUSH,” and Arkane Austin, developer of “Redfall,” have announced they will be closing.

Each is a studio under ZeniMax Media (Bethesda Softworks), and following Microsoft's acquisition of ZeniMax Media in 2020, they operate as one of the Xbox Game Studios.

Tango Gameworks is based in Tokyo and was founded by Shinji Mikami, otherwise known as “Resident Evil.” In 2014, the survival horror game “Psycho Break” directed by Mr. Mikami was released.

In addition, the open-world game “Ghostwire: Tokyo”, which depicts a Tokyo full of strange things, boasts its popularity, and the rhythm action game “Hi-Fi RUSH”, released in 2023, has also won great acclaim. . Please note that Shinji Mikami will retire from the company in 2023.

Arkane Austin is the sister studio to Arkane Studios, best known for “Dishonored,” and has been working on the open-world co-op FPS game “Redfall.”

Although 'Redfall' is a multiplayer title, it has also been announced that DLC development will not continue in the future.
