Stephanie McMahon She resigns from her position as co-CEO of WWE… days after her father, VinceHe returned to the company’s board of directors.
The 46-year-old made this shocking announcement just minutes ago…she released a lengthy statement regarding her decision to quit.
“About 8 months ago, I took a vacation and in a few weeks, I unexpectedly had the opportunity of a lifetime,” said McMahon. “It was an honor to return as co-CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of WWE.”
Steve takes over as her father in July 2022… after he resigns amid an investigation alleged misconduct. Vince was accused of using WWE money to pay female employees after having sexual relations with them.
“I cannot put into words how proud I am of leading what I consider to be the greatest company in the world, working alongside an incredible leadership team and one of the strongest executives I have ever known in my co-CEO, Nick KhanMcMahon added.
As previously reported, Vince appointed himself back to the board of directors on Friday with the intent of helping negotiate his impending WWE television deal… and exploring a potential sale of the company.

“WWE is in such a strong position, I’ve decided to go back on my sabbatical and take it one step further with my official resignation,” McMahon said, adding that she will continue to support the company — just as she did when she was a little kid — and remain “dedicated to WWE.”
She added, “I really love our company, our employees, our stars, and our fans.” “I am grateful to all of our partners. Thank you for everything. Then, now. Forever. Together.”
Khan will now serve as the sole CEO of the company.
