The nature of the checks was not made clear, but they were severe enough to trigger the call and leave hundreds of passengers wondering how they got from Point A to Point B.
“I’m angry. I wasn’t treated with respect,” Lisa Nicholson said. “I have flown on other airlines that took care of their passengers, and it was not my fault.”
Maria Pagan was among the many Spirit passengers who didn’t know if they would reach their destination on time. However, she was told that she would not know the status of her flight until she arrived at her gate.
“I’m waiting for them to take me to the gate, and they tell me that our flight might be cancelled, but we won’t know until we get there,” Pagan said.
When she left Bagan, she hoped her trip would be a success.
