A digital day at the Central Library
:
Robots, games and virtual worlds
Wuppertal Watch out, the robots are on the loose! – This is the motto of the city library on Friday (24 June 2022). On the occasion of National Digital Day 2022, the Central Library at Kolpingstraße 8 invites you to an exciting program for all age groups.
Starting at 11 a.m., the robots Pepper, Nao, Tessa, Yanni and Co. are on the move. On all floors. There are great encounters with smart men. Implementation is carried out with the support of the companies “Roboter4Care” and “Entrance Robotics”.
There is also plenty to try and explore with the right support program from 12 noon to 6 pm. With workshops and information on digital tools and services, the city library presents itself as a vibrant digital place for learning.
Visitors are welcome to learn about and try out new technologies. You can also get creative, build brush robots, animate cute monsters, and make birds sing. This also includes enjoying playing games together.
In cooperation with the Survey and Survey and Geographical Data Office of the City of Wuppertal, “thematic maps”, a completely new generation of maps, will also be presented. Submission is free. Registration is not required.
