sleep symbol Take me back to Eden
rocker, Spinefarm/RTD (12 songs/Release: May 19)
It’s hard to assign some type to the sleep code. Between Metalcore, Prog, and Rock, sprinkled with borrowings from Funk and Trap, TAKE ME BACK TO EDEN brings more than music fans usually have in their playlists. When singer Vessel then shifts between haunting tracks and screams and you consider how capable the album actually was despite its multitude of influences, your jaw can’t stop. Londoners are out of sorts, but as hard as they are to categorize, even for a review, it’s easy to fall in love with them. Large portions of the third album also have nothing to do with Metal, just so, in a U-turn, back exactly to the right place to describe METAL HAMMER is the right place to describe this music.

The tentatively built arcade is a great balance to the challenging arcade, and the emotional atmosphere is second to none. Musicians manage what few artists can: No matter their actual listening preferences, everyone will find something they love on Take Me Back. Check out the tips: “The Summoning,” “Rain,” and the title track. Goosebumps guaranteed.
