Overwatch 2 PvP Beta is currently on everyone’s lips. Although the question of differences in Overwatch 1 is still omnipresent, IP Blizzard’s shooter hero is currently very popular again. As part of the beta launch, the Overwatch category on Twitch broke an all-time record of over 1.5 million concurrent viewers.
This value was not reached even when the first part was released. But as far as Overwatch 2, the closed beta, as the name suggests, still isn’t on every PC. While in the evening there was an opportunity to get guaranteed access through your accumulated watch time on Twitch.tv, it was just an eight-hour window during which you had to spend four hours on the specially selected Overwatch 2 channels.
So, if you don’t have time for that and aren’t fortunate enough to be selected and notified via email via the trial sign up on your account, you’re still left empty-handed. Now there’s a new chance to get access to the Overwatch 2 Closed PvP Beta.
OWL launches as a new opportunity to access beta
Blizzard recently announced that beta access will be granted again as part of the start of the Overwatch League on May 5, 2022. This time, the associated broadcast will take place on YouTube and begin Thursday at 9 PM. Every hour, 1500 beta keys are randomly distributed to all viewers who have linked their YouTube account to their Battle.net account in the YouTube broadcast when OWL starts.
As with the Twitch Drop event, this connection is absolutely essential. In addition, the competition is likely to be much less than it would be with live broadcasts on Twitch. However, 1500 hits per hour among all viewers promises a small chance of success. With a little (more) luck, you can still get into the beta version of Overwatch 2, which is currently slated to remain active until May 17, 2022.
1500 codes per hour | OW2 Beta Release Opening Weekend!
An accompanying old-fashioned trailer announces the distribution of tokens as part of the opening weekend of Season 5 of OWL. In addition to tokens, those who have linked Battle.net to their YouTube account can earn league tokens, skins, and other rewards for Overwatch 1 in the live stream.
