Vienna – After successfully completing three ORF training courses last year, ORF-Technik will once again offer technology training to young IT talents starting Fall 2022. From Fall 2022, ORF trainees can expect comprehensive IT/IT training for media to become Specialists in “Digital Technology” and directly involved in cross-functional digital transformation projects (eg broadcast platforms, multimedia newsroom). In addition, rotations within the ORF’s IT/Media and IT departments and direct insights into ORF’s main entertainment, information, sports and cultural programming on TV, Radio and Internet are part of the internship. Technology training at ORF offers the following main areas, among others: IT project management, data management, streaming technologies, cloud computing, test management as well as quality assurance and network technologies. Trainees are supported by mentors and receive accompanying training in seminars and workshops.

Applications for ORF Technology Training
Interested parties can submit a motivation letter and CV with photo on the jobs website. A specialized ORF jury will examine all incoming application documents and select applicants who will have the opportunity to participate in the assessment center at the ORF Center in Vienna. Interns are employed for a limited period of one year. The application period ends on June 8, 2022.
