design

The computer body is made of aluminum alloy.

The luxury logo is printed on it, giving it a luxurious feel.

Size is approximately 313mm W x 233.5mm D x 17.99mm H. It feels like a traditional 14-inch size. I think this is an easy laptop to carry around.

The bottom also uses an aluminum chassis like the top panel.

Cinebench R23 is a benchmark program that measures CPU performance. The higher the score, the higher the performance.

Multi-core performance is 12,305 points and single-core performance is 1,603 points.

This is decent performance for a model equipped with the Core Ultra.

Maximum performance doesn't seem to be that high.

3D Mark Time Spy

Benchmarking software designed for heavy gaming titles.

Most of the scores were in the top tier for 14-inch laptops.

Comfort for extremely heavy gaming titles

Frame rates comparison for Cyberpunk 2077 Full HD Ultra presets.

The average fps is lower than the RTX4050, and I think there is a difference in the output.

You may need to adjust the picture quality to play comfortably.

Comfort for heavyweight gaming titles

In the game-heavy title Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the resolution was 109 fps at Full HD.

Although the GPU power is slightly lower than the RTX2070SUPER, you can game comfortably using DLSS technology.

Compare video editing workflow

Computer temperature and fan noise

This is the result of a 30-minute episode of the Final Fantasy 15 benchmark.

The performance of this computer has been adjusted so that the CPU runs at around 65 degrees Celsius.

It's easy to use. The computer itself does not heat up and the fan is quiet.

The GPU is also temperature controlled to operate at around 60 degrees Celsius.

As a result, the frame rate drops when changing scenes, but I was mainly able to play at around 80fps.

I believe you can maintain a comfortable level when playing high-resolution games.

Surface temperature

The computer's surface temperature reached a maximum of 45°C during benchmark testing. Be careful because the temperature will only rise in one place.

Loud fan rotation

Fan rotation sound was measured when exporting video. It was 44.3 dB.

It's quieter than a typical gaming laptop, but loud enough to be concerning.

Summary If you want a gaming laptop, this is it.

The OMEN Transcend 14 can perform creative tasks on par with high-end models.

I can recommend it to anyone who wants a gaming laptop to carry with them daily.

On the other hand, lower power consumption is associated with lower performance.

It is also true that it is not a very attractive product for people looking for a fixed device.

The following points should be noted:
