As part of SID Display Week 2024, LG Display recently introduced a new 39-inch OLED panel intended for future gaming displays and based on the META 2.0 technology introduced at the beginning of the year. According to LG, META 2.0 offers a “leading brightness improvement of approximately 42 percent” compared to the first iteration, with a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. In contrast to the previous 39-inch 1440p 240Hz panel, the new version should be as high as the resolution.
