NVIDIA Studio Driver released in October 2023!

2023October 10 (local time) – Nvidia has released the latest update for its Studio Driver.

NVIDIA Studio drivers provide 3D artists, creators, and developers with high performance and reliability when using creative applications.

Recent updates from Adobe have introduced new AI capabilities for Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, After Effects, Substance 3D Stager, Modeler, Sampler, and more. GeForce RTX and NVIDIA RTX GPUs accelerate these applications and AI effects, delivering significant time savings.

■Premier Pro

The Speech Enhancement (beta) feature in Premiere Pro uses AI to remove noise and improve the quality of dialogue clips, making them appear professionally recorded.

The GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPU completes tasks 8x faster than the MacBook Pro 16 with M2 Max.

Premiere Pro professionals use ARRIRAW footage, the only format that fully preserves the camera’s natural color response and superior latitude. The laptop’s GeForce RTX 4090 GPU can export ARRIRAW video 1.6 times faster than the MacBook Pro 16 with M2 Max.

■After Effects

After Effects users now have access to next-generation Roto Brush functionality in beta, featuring an all-new AI model. Ideal for separating transparent objects such as tangled ends or hair more easily and save time.

■ 3D Stager material

Substance 3D Stager now enables near-real-time rendering with new AI-powered, GPU-accelerated noise reduction.

■ Material 3D Modeler

Substance 3D Modeler’s new hardware ray tracing in capture mode uses NVIDIA technology to export high-quality screenshots 2.4 times faster than before.

■Substance 3D Sampler

Substance 3D Sampler’s AI upscaling feature improves detail in low-quality textures, and the Image to Material feature makes it easy to create high-quality textures from a single image.

■ Lightroom

Lightroom users can take advantage of AI features like Lens Blur to apply realistic lens blur effects, Point Color to make precise color adjustments to speed up color correction, and High Dynamic Range output for editing and display in the HDR color space. You can now use the features you have.

Additionally, the popular Super Resolution feature in Adobe Camera Raw is also supported in Photoshop, delivering 3x faster performance on the GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPU compared to the MacBook Pro 16 M2 Max.

■Adobe Firefly

Adobe Firefly provides users with generative AI capabilities powered by NVIDIA GPUs in the cloud.

• GeneativeFill for adding, removing, and expanding content in Photoshop. Firefly features like Genetic Expand, which expands scenes with generated content, can help you complete tasks instantly in Adobe Photoshop.

• The generative recoloring feature in Adobe Illustrator allows graphic designers to incorporate different colors, palettes, and themes into their work without having to manually recolor. The text effects feature also helps you design standard text to create posts, bios, social media reels, etc.
