Get ready Swifties – Taylor Swift It could be this season’s Super Bowl halftime show… at least, that’s what fans of the musician are thinking after the NFL seemed to come up with a big idea in it all Thursday night.
Here’s the deal—in May, Pepsi pulled out of its long-running partnership with the league and the Big Game halftime show…and on Thursday night, the NFL announced it had finally replaced the soft drink company with Apple Music as the new sponsor.
In its announcement, the league didn’t mention a potential Super Bowl LVII halftime player…but according to Swift fans, that wasn’t needed — because the release timing said it all.
The league curiously dropped the news in the middle of the night – something that Swift has been associated with for YEARS. She has released albums twice since 2020 released at the time, and has sung the word “Midnight” hundreds of times in her tracks.
Swift is also set to release a new album next month… titled “Midnight.”
Taylor has never shown SB before – many believe she won’t take the party due to her being locked in a sponsorship deal with Pepsi’s biggest competitor, Coca-Cola.
With Apple Music now in, it looks like Swift will be free and clear to take out “Shake It Off” for millions during the Super Bowl break on February 12 without a problem.
