In the Federal State of Salzburg, a 20-person Techem team reads, bills, sells and installs measuring and recording equipment. The branch, founded 25 years ago, is one of eight locations nationwide that the company wants to help its customers increase the energy efficiency of buildings and reduce their environmental footprint through digital and smart solutions – after all, more than 40 percent of CO2 emissions. Emissions are generated across Europe. However, innovative measures for efficient use of heat and water can help customers save up to 15 percent in energy annually. This starts with recording and billing of radio controlled systems and extends to consumption analysis.
The new larger site is designed to be sustainable and must be the basis for Salzburg’s continued growth. The company also wants to increase the number of its employees: Customer service technicians and technical assistants are currently being sought. “With personal support, we want to bring our customers closer to the benefits of digitalization in energy management for the environment and their own wallet. Our portfolio ranges from recording digital consumption to analyzing and treating heating water,” says Salzburg branch manager Nemet God Olms.
