Is it unlikely that the new Mac Pro will appear at WWDC23?

According to Mark Gurman, Apple will soon release the 15-inch MacBook Air. It will reportedly be equipped with an M2 chip and will be added to the existing 13-inch MacBook Air as a new line. “The 15-inch MacBook Air with the M2 chip was supposed to come out last year,” says Mark Gurman, regarding why a model with the M2 chip came out when the M3 chip was on its way. This indicates that the release has been delayed for some reason.

It also provides information about Mac desktops. First of all, regarding the new Mac Studio, there is no plan to install the M2 SoC generation, and it is expected that the new model will only appear after the announcement of the M3 generation.

As for the reason, Mark Gurman explains it’s “to prevent conflicts with the Mac Pro”. The Mac Pro was originally supposed to be the top model of the Mac series, but for some reason, its release has been delayed.
