the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards The show will take place on Tuesday with Nicki Minaj hosting the show as well as performing at the Prudential Center in New Jersey.
Taylor Swift leads the group with a total of eight Nominationsincluding Artist of the Year, Video of the Year and Song of the Year for her 2022 hit “Anti-Hero.”
Beyoncé, Doja, Karol G, Minaj and Shakira join Swift as nominees for Entertainer of the Year, marking the first time since the category was introduced in 2017 that all of the Entertainer of the Year nominees are women. Shakira received the Video Vanguard Award. Tonight will also welcome a whole new class of Afrobeat hits.
Demi Lovato, Shakira, Olivia Rodrigo, and Cardi B along with Megan Thee Stallion, Diddy, Lil Wayne, Doja Cat, and Fall Out Boy, among others, are also scheduled to perform throughout the ceremony.
