MSI Accidentally Leaks 14th Gen Intel CPU Specs, 3% Faster Than The 13th Gen – GIGAZINE

It turns out that a slide about an unreleased 14th Gen Intel CPU (Raptor Lake-S Refresh) was included in the video introducing the motherboard and PC case released by MSI. The video quickly became private, but comparison photos with the 13th generation leaked.

The specification comparison picture of the 13th generation and the 14th generation released by MSI is as follows. The 14th generation doesn’t have any architectural changes, is built with the same Intel 7 processor (10nm process) as the current 13th generation chip, and appears to be up to 3% faster on average. The i7-14700K will only speed up by up to 17% due to the addition of E cores.

The slide confirms that Intel’s 14th Gen CPUs won’t see a significant increase in core count. We also know from other bits of video that the 14th Gen CPU will also support higher DDR5 frequencies and an improved L3 cache.

Most of the videos released by MSI have focused on their future release PC case and motherboard compatible with the “Intel 700” chipset developed for the 13th Gen Intel CPU, but I seem to have mistakenly included a slide about the CPU Mainframe Intel fourteenth generation. You can also check the “NDA (Information Under Non-Disclosure Agreement), Do Not Share” sign on the slide.

Intel is expected to announce information about the fourteenth generation of the CPU at the ‘Innovation 2023’ event scheduled to be held from September 19 to 20, 2023. In addition, information about the new generation of the CPU is expected to be announced. “Core Ultra”.
