With Turbo Overkill A modern retro-look shooter was released in Early Access on Steam today. Modern graphics are skillfully blended with classic design and bring to life the golden age of first-person shooters. Official highlights in addition to developers Trigger Happy Interactive Also cult publisher Abuji Entertainmentwhich is behind hits like Max Payne, Rise of the Triad, Duke Nukem 3D, Wolfenstein 3D and Prey.
In addition to the Steam version, Turbo Overkill will also be released later this year for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well as version 1.0.

About Turbo Overkill
Turbo Overkill enters Early Access with eight dense multi-layered stages, secret arenas, multiple difficulty levels, tons of character upgrades, and unlockable content. Five to eight hours of gameplay should make even shooting veterans happy. More levels, abilities, weapons, challenges and quality of life features will be added in the coming months.
Johnny Turbo returns home to a cyberpunk paradise scene to discover that a rogue AI named Syn has seized thousands of augmented objects. In order to take back his city, Johnny must augment his body. Players must take on an entire city.
Inspired by genre giants like Quake II, Titanfall, and BioShock, Turbo Overkill combines fast-paced weapons and pixel perfection with the freedom to explore different gameplay styles. Fast paced stunts like wall running, grappling hook swing and car surfing are available to the player. Destructive melee missiles with the rocket launcher are fun, as are saw leg mods that increase mobility or restore health when killed.
