Developers have implemented some new features in Built 22000.65. This includes a search field in the Start menu. However, first and foremost the pre-release version brings bug fixes.
Microsoft has one New preview for Windows 11 Published. The Create 22000.65 Available on the developer channel of the Windows Insider program. It brings some minor improvements and numerous bug fixes.
New is the ability to display a search field in the Start menu and the taskbar on multiple connected monitors. Until now, the taskbar in Multi Monitor mode was only on the main screen.
According to a post on the Windows Insider blog, developers have also edited various computer messages. Additionally, the desktop context menu now offers the option to upgrade without any diversions. Also, the loudspeaker icon on the system tray provides direct access to the adjustment via the context menu.
Microsoft provides solutions for taskbar, settings application, file explorer, search and widgets. The preferred date format now always appears in the taskbar and the application should start with the most reliability of settings. Additionally, it should now be possible to pin applications in the Start menu and remove them again without any problems.
Windows Search has swallowed the letter that first entered the first test framework of Windows 11 – the problem should now be a thing of the past. Text scaling in widgets should now work properly. Other bug fixes are related to Linux, Safe Mode, and Windows subsystem for Explorer – crashed again and again when the display language is set to Russian.
However, the list of bugs that still exist is extensive. Some primarily occur when upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Since July 7, Microsoft has been inviting its insiders to specifically handle certain parts of Windows 11 and submit any bugs they may have encountered during the process.
Microsoft plans to bring Windows 11 to newer PCs this year, as well as a free upgrade to Windows 10. At the same time, the company is also working on a 20H2 update for Windows 10, which is expected in the fall.
