From now on, you can also play Metro Exodus on the next generation of Xbox! In line with this, Microsoft has released a launch trailer for Metro Exodus on Xbox Series X/S. This shows what the update has in store for you. The visual optimization is unmistakable and also provides ray tracing effects at a constant 60 frames per second. While the Xbox Series X offers you 4K resolution, you have to settle for 1080p on the S Series.
If you already own a Metro Exodus for Xbox, you can now also get a free upgrade to the next generation version using the Smart Delivery functionality. Along with Metro Exodus for Xbox Series X/S, Metro Exodus Complete Edition will also appear in a physical version – for both Xbox One and Xbox Series X. This includes story expansions The Two Colonels and Sam’s Story.
Metro Exodus was first released on February 15, 2019, following development at 4A Games, and is considered the highlight of the franchise for many fans of the franchise. If you’re into a post-apocalypse like single-player shooters and haven’t played Metro Exodus yet, you’ll get another current shot here.
