Launch of C-Cubed Technology
L&L Products announces the release of its C-Cubed technology. It is a high-performance polyester fiber (PET)-based filling material developed to improve comfort with a new breathable material.

The C-Cubed material has a breathable 3D structure that provides cushioning, allows heat to escape, wicks sweat away from the skin and creates an evaporative cooling effect. This material increases overall comfort while maintaining cushioning performance.
PET base allows for a recyclable solution
“Once again, we’re hearing from customers that they need a cushioning material that enables their products to be recyclable,” said Greg Thompson, global technology leader for L&L Products. Recycling is about reducing waste and recovering and reusing materials. “The revolutionary PET-based C-Cubed technology enables a recyclable solution without sacrificing performance. It increases comfort in terms of breathability and air circulation.”
better ventilation
C-Cubed outperforms traditional polyurethane foams in terms of moisture management and breathability while maintaining flexibility. It is based on PET technology, which is usually more easily recycled or reused than EVA and PU foams. In addition, unlike polyurethane foams, C-Cubed does not contain any toxic isocyanates.
“In a fibrous structure, moisture or perspiration follows the flow of the fiber,” says Varun Mohan, senior product development engineer at L&L Products. Close to the skin, the combination of our uniquely aligned structure and high-performance fibers wick moisture away from the skin and help dissipate body heat, increasing overall comfort where current cushioning materials fail.
More carrying convenience for backpacks
New technology is used in two new backpack designs for 2024 from Nemo Equipment, the manufacturer of outdoor gear and accessories for the ultimate adventure experience. C-Cubed improves backpack performance by improving ventilation in the back panel, shoulder straps, and hip belts.
