The duo’s goal is to rescue Waddle Dees who has been kidnapped by the so-called Beast Pack. To do this, they run, jump and climb across diverse areas of this new world. Especially enthusiastic players will find hidden areas, treasures and other secrets in every nook and cranny. But many villains are waiting for them, too. They face them with a whole host of classic and all-new Kirby abilities. In addition, a new filler mode is available for them. This allows Kirby to absorb things like a car or vending machine and thus build their shapes. With this ability, he can overcome obstacles and solve puzzles.

Another special feature of Kirby and the Forgotten Earth is the duo mode: a second Nintendo Switch fan can join as Waddle Dee’s co-star and accompany Kirby as a co-star. For local co-op play, simply share your Joy-Con.

There’s also time to take a deep breath and plenty to experience at Waddle Dee, the trek’s central starting point. The more Waddle Dees players save during their adventure, the more shops and mini games they offer.

That and more awaits players starting today in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. If you’re curious, you can try out the first three levels of Kirby’s new adventure with a free demo at the Nintendo eShop. Here it goes to: Kirby and the Forgotten Land
