Four more astronauts have reached the International Space Station. The private company SpaceX’s capsule is about 420 km from the Indian Ocean. Eleven astronauts now share the temporarily limited space.

D.International Space Station ISS Has grown to eleven individuals, which is larger than it has been for more than ten years. On Saturday, four astronauts brought a reused capsule from the private space agency SpaceX and joined the existing crew. Joseph Ashbacher, director general of the European Space Agency, joked that the space station would need to be expanded soon because there were so many on board.

Newcomers to the ISS include Shane Kimberly and Megan McArthur from the United States, Thomas Pesket from France and Akihiko Hosheid from Japan. The four astronauts aboard the spacecraft “Endeavor”, the private spacecraft “Crew Dragon”, a private space company called SpaceX, crashed about 420 km from the Indian Ocean in the morning. Two hours later, at 1:00 pm, the crew was greeted by their colleagues from the last SpaceX mission.

“We are very happy to have you on board,” ISS commander Shannon Walker said on the radio after the meeting. Eleven are pressed together to be in the frame of a video call with space agencies. French astronaut Pesket described the arrival of the ISS as sacred. NASA, the Japanese space agency Jaxa, the European space agency ESA and the Russian astronauts have been together in space for 20 years. “So what’s happening today is really historic,” he said. “We can’t wait to start our mission at the space station. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for us in this adventure.”

SpaceX uses the first used rocket capsules

After successfully completing a man test flight to ISS last spring, “Crew-1” flew invariably with “Crew Dragon” to ISS. After a gap of nearly nine years, this is the first time astronauts have returned to orbit from American soil – the first time they have been promoted by a private space agency.

With the previously used “Crew Dragon” capsule and rocket stage, SpaceX made its first manned flight to ISS. In addition, the rocket level landed safely on Earth and is to be reused to save costs. Four more manned SpaceX planes are currently planned for ISS.

This is SpaceX’s ISS. The company’s first mission from high – tech pioneer Elon Musk last May completed a nine – year period in which the United States relied on Russian missiles for aircraft to the ISS. Along with the astronauts, the “Crew Dragon” carried 110 kilograms of objects and supplies for scientific experiments.

Recycling spacecraft is one of the visions of SpaceX founder Muskin. “I think we are at the beginning of a new era in space research,” he told a news conference after Endeavor was launched. We are happy to be a part of the progress of human space travel, to go beyond Earth’s orbit to the moon and Mars and one day help humanity transform into a multi – planetary spaceflight civilization, “said Kasturi.

Acting NASA boss Steve Jursic spoke of an “important milestone” and an “incredible year for NASA”. Regular SpaceX planes now may also collide with each other in the future, so the larger crew can thus instruct the older crew on the new.
