The current Lake Alder generation will follow Raptor Lake. This should happen already during the current year, so the first samples are already in circulation. One such element now appears to have been sent through the ashes of singularity: the escalation criterion.
The normative result as such is not particularly meaningful. Only “Intel Genuine (R) 0000” tested with GeForce RTX 3090 is read. The software also reads 32 logic cores here, which does not mean that 32 were used here, but earlier rumors of an 8 + 16 design were confirmed. So it should The top model from Raptor Lake has eight performance cores and 16 efficiency cores. With these 8 + 16 cores, we then get to 32 threads read by the benchmark – eight cores with SMT plus 16 cores without SMT.
Many see only unnecessary accessories in efficiency cores. However, they make a significant contribution to the ability of Alder Lake processors to catch up with AMD in multi-threading performance. The doubling of efficiency cores in Lake Raptor is now indicated, while the number of performance cores should remain the same at eight.
There aren’t many details about Lake Raptor yet. The processors will be made in Intel 7, i.e. still at 10nm. However, it is said that Intel wants to increase the clock to 5.3+ GHz.
