Downloading VMware has become very annoying. In this article,We will show you how to download VMware Workstation.

First, VMware Workstation Player, which was intended for personal use, will be discontinued in May 2024. So, it's alreadyVMware Workstation Player PageIt cannot be downloaded from.

Currently only VMware Workstation Pro is available for download.VMware Workstation Pro is now available for free for personal use.

Here are the steps to download VMware Workstation Pro. It's quite a hassle. I can't remove it as easily as before.

1. Broadcom websitePlease go to “Register'' on the top right and create an account. After creating the account, please log in using the “Login'' button. “Username'' is your registered email address.
   
2. After logging in, select “VMware Cloud Foundation” from the cloud icon in the upper right corner.
   
3. Go to My Dashboard page and select My Downloads from the left menu.
   
4. Select “VMware Workstation Pro” at the bottom right. (There is also “VMware Workstation Player”, but it is not downloadable.)
5. A list of “VMware Workstation Pro” will be displayed, so if you want to use it for free for personal use, choose the option labeled “Personal Use”.
   
6. Versions will be displayed, so choose your preferred version.
7. Please check “I agree to the terms and conditions”.
   
8. Click the download button (cloud icon on the right). When you click the download button, the message “Before downloading ~” will be displayed, so click the “Yes” button.
   
9. The address entry screen will be displayed, enter it and then press the “Submit” button.
   
10. You will be returned to the previous screen, so click the download button (cloud icon) to start downloading VMware Workstation Pro. Thank you for your hard work.
