Hear Lady Gaga's Harley Quinn voice in the “Joker: Folie à Deux” preview.

Lady Gaga has already teased a preview of it joker Face – Now, one week after the first trailer for the long-awaited sequel debuted on April 9, she has officially debuted the voice of Harley Quinn in the first audio preview of Joker: Folie à Deux.

In a short preview published for the film it has been verified Tik Tok In Tuesday's account, Gaga channels a sensual, breathy version of the DC Comics villain to convince Joaquin Phoenix's Joker to do as she pleases. “You can do anything you want,” Gaga-as-Harley chants in the clip below. “You're a joker.”

While the titular character's singing has changed over the years depending on who's voicing her, Harley Quinn has typically been portrayed with a Brooklyn accent thanks to voice actress Arleen Sorkin, who originated the role in Batman: The Animated Series. Margot Robbie recently continued the trend with her bold, hyper-tight interpretation in DC Extended Universe live-action projects, so Gaga's seemingly sloppy version comes as a bit of a departure from what fans are used to hearing.

Robbie said in January diverse on the Golden Globes red carpet and who has yet to talk to Gaga about passing the baton to her before then Joker: Folie à Deux.

“Oh my God, she's going to crush it. Are you kidding? She's going to be amazing, I can't wait to see her,” she said. “I haven't actually talked to her about it. I almost don't want to know so I can save it for the surprise when I get to watch the movie.”

Rumored to be a fantasy musical featuring covers of popular songs, it is director Todd Phillips' second joker The film is said to pick up after the events of the 2019 project, in which Phoenix's Arthur Fleck (who evolves into the titular character throughout the film) finds love with a psychiatrist, Dr. Harleen Quinzel (Gaga), while detained at Arkham Asylum in Gotham City.

Gaga first appeared in the film in 2022, and production will continue until early 2023. Photos from the set teased Gaga's Harley Quinn costume consisting of a bright red jacket, checkered undershirt, and clown-inspired makeup.

Joker: Folie à Deux Ready to follow in the footsteps of the success of the first film. The first anti-hero film grossed more than $1 billion at the global box office and earned Phoenix the award for Best Actor at the 2020 Academy Awards – the same ceremony where the film competed in the Best Picture category.
