Porsche Design is a lifestyle brand that aims to make the car manufacturer better known in other regions as well. There were, for example, Porsche Design speakers or collaborations with smartphone manufacturers. Porsche Design has been collaborating with AOC for a long time, and it has already paid off. Now there’s the latest collaboration result: the Porsche Design AOC Agon Pro PD32M gaming monitor. The design is said to be inspired by Porsche sports cars. For example, the display incorporates design elements for the steering wheel and rim ribs of a sports car.
Other than that, this is a 31.5-inch screen, an IPS LCD panel, a 144Hz refresh rate, a small LED backlight and a DisplayHDR 1400 certification. According to the manufacturer, the response time is only 1ms. However, it all comes at a cost: the Porsche Design AOC Agon Pro PD32M costs 1999 euros. It is now available in Porsche Design stores, in specialized stores and on the Internet on the site www.porsche-design.com As well as in select online stores.
The equipment also includes a stand made of sandblasted aluminum, two 8-watt speakers, on-board DTS support and RGB indirect lighting. The screen is also height adjustable and can be rotated or aligned vertically. Covers 97% of the DCI-P3 color space. The backlight has 1151 dimming zones. The maximum brightness is 1400 nits.
The Porsche Design AOC Agon Pro PD32M interfaces include a DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.1 ports, as well as USB-C and four USB 3.2 ports. External devices can be connected via the USB-C port. It can be charged up to 90W. The PD32M also features a KVM switch. In picture-by-picture mode
(UHD at 60Hz), the monitor displays the content of two sources via DisplayPort, HDMI, or USB-C at the same time.
