A couple is celebrating the wife’s first anniversary and the wife wanted to know what her husband would like. You jokingly call them components for a computer. And then he’s surprised when things are already on his table.
A player is posted on redditHe and his partner are celebrating their first wedding anniversary. His wife asked him if he wanted something special. He jokingly gave her a complete list of components for a gaming computer.
Perhaps his wife didn’t take it as a joke, because he posted a picture where you can see a number of hardware components. Including a new RTX 4070 Ti and a gaming monitor. In total, his wife has invested about 2,000 euros in the devices, which you can see in the photo. They include, among others:
- Intel i9 processor
- GeForce RTX 4070 Ti from Nvidia
- The Fractal Meshify 2 as an enclosure
- RGB memory
- MSI Z790 Tomahawk WIFI (motherboard)
- Samsung 980 Pro (SSD)

Feedback is almost exclusively positive. Many liked the gift and wish the user and his wife a Happy Anniversary.
Some are already joking: if a wife gives 2,000 euros worth of equipment for the first anniversary, what is there for the tenth anniversary?
What does his wife even get? In another post, the player explains that he wants to give his wife an “all inclusive vacation in Jamaica” to celebrate their anniversary. Some jokes: It’s a win-win situation — unless his wife goes on vacation alone and doesn’t take him with her.
Others are not so “lucky” with their wives. The user wants to play Diablo 4, but first he needs to convince his partner that he is really allowed to do so. Society’s reactions are very different:
