After a first look at the gameplay forever sky Gave, has developers and publisher away from home I now lifted the curtain a bit and showed an extended trailer for the game. This was created as part of Futuristic Games Show: Spring Show chest. The climate change sci-fi survival game that players have been eagerly awaiting will be available in Early Access on Steam in 2022, followed by console releases.
More gameplay scenes in the new trailer:
The new movie stars the Forever Skies protagonist, a lone scientist desperate for answers after an environmental disaster that wiped out civilization as we know it worldwide. In this strange new world, whether on foot or in their customizable airship, players must explore the ruins above and below a cloud of dust, collect samples and scavenge for special virus variants in order to find a cure for what remains of humanity stuck in Earth’s orbit. Modern scientific technology, especially nanorobot repair systems and advances in biology and biotechnology, help the player in his journey. But the surface of the Earth became a dangerous and inhospitable place during the absence of man. New evolutionary stages of animals and plants as well as strange new microorganisms have developed so that humans are now aliens in their original world.
Players can look forward to vertical gameplay, as their mission in Forever Skies is to reach special locations below and above the cover of a dust cloud, no matter how dangerous it is. The dynamic weather system in Forever Skies is often unpredictable and unforgiving, providing another challenge for players.
A customizable high-tech airship, complete with extensive building and damage systems, will become the primary tool for the player in Forever Skies. Not only is it the most efficient means of transportation, but it also provides a roof over one’s head and an opportunity to research the onboard laboratory, to grow food and to produce essential tools for survival.

The game looks very promising – almost too good to be true. One can only hope that the developer Far From Home will be able to realize his own ambitions. If the game delivers what it promises, it could become one of the most interesting survival games of the year.
