NFL fans will be aware that we are less than two weeks away from the start of the 2022-23 season, and as it is, the NFL has a new partnership with Enthusiast Gaming announce The pair will host a weekly competition series.
Known as NFL Tuesday Night Gaming, this will see “a rotating roster of 12 NFL players or legends and 6 game developers competing across three game titles each week in an exciting new format” starting September 13.
We are told that after each week, the teams will be seeded, with the top four teams qualifying for one playoff that offers a chance to be crowned the first champion.
“The NFL is excited to partner with Enthusiast Gaming on the league’s first-ever content series,” said Joe Ruggiero, NFL Senior Vice President of Consumer Products. “NFL Tuesday Night Gaming will be a unique addition to our weekly schedule, and will engage the broader gaming community through a fun blend of NFL stars and video game culture.”
There will also be weekly live streams of play, games of the week, highlights and more, all taking advantage of the NFL’s scope and Enthusiast Productions Network.
