Ninja on YouTube Gaming? Strange tweets raise questions

Ninja is the most followed player on Twitch and has long been the face of gaming in the mainstream media. After his time on Mixer and his return to Twitch, things have calmed down a bit. Some strange tweets are now suggesting that he might switch over to YouTube Gaming, or maybe take a breather for now…

Richard Tyler Blevins a.k.a. Ninja is still the one who despite a year-long hiatus on the currently discontinued streaming platform Mixer is still reeling in his Fortnite hype. Twitch streamer with the most followers. Already at the age of 31 he had already played by broadcasting. His behavior on social media makes many in his community suspicious.

Ninja left his fans confused with a very vague tweet on September 1, 2022, stating that he will be taking a break and not knowing when or where he will be back. “I just need a break…I don’t know when or where I will be back,” he wrote in a tweet. Pausing is not uncommon for live stream creators. At the same time, he also deleted his profile picture and renamed himself “User Not Found” on Twitter.

What makes things even weirder is that he recently tweeted “big things to come” with a link to his Twitch channel. On his last broadcast, he wasn’t feeling well and talked about hallucinations at night.

On August 25, 2022, Ninja revealed that a scheduled call with YouTube had been cancelled. It’s unclear what the call was about or why it was cancelled, but fans have speculated that the Twitch star will sign an exclusive deal with YouTube Gaming, As more and more Twitch players are doing in the recent past.
