The 2024 Emmy Awards took place last night at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles. Father-son duo Eugene and Dan Levy hosted the 76th annual awards show — honoring the best TV shows and performances of the year. (If you thought the Emmys had already happened this year, you’d be right; the 2023 Emmys were delayed amid the SAG/SAT strike and were held in January. The awards are now back to their usual September slot.)
While we eagerly waited to see which performances and actors would take home the night's big awards (Shogun It is the most nominated series with 25 nominations, followed by The bear and Only killers in the building With 23 and 21, respectively, our eyes were glued to the red carpet. The Emmy Awards have a rich history in the fashion world—from Felicity– Keri Russell in a sparkly Armani Privé gown (2000) to Tracee Ellis Ross in a Valentino Haute Couture gown (2018). Last night, the tradition continued.
