What does the data mean? The manufacturer has already provided some specific instructions. The “minimum requirements” correspond to Full HD resolution at 30 frames per second. However, “minimum requirements” often means low settings so that the game runs smoothly. So you shouldn't expect too much.

How smoothly does Dragon's Dogma 2 run? The manufacturer indicates that the game may suffer from frame drops during very heavy events. If you have problems, turn off ray tracing effects on your computer. There are already reports that Dragon's Dogma 2 will have difficulty reaching 30 frames per second on PS5.

According to Nvidia, DLSS should also be included in Dragon's Dogma 2. It's not yet known if AMD's FSR and Intel's XeSS are also included. With so-called upscalers you should also get better performance.

What graphics card do you need? Game requires at least GeForce GTX 1070 or Radeon RX 5500 (8GB). These two graphics cards are not very fast and are more like entry-level graphics cards. For a used Radeon RX 5500 you now pay around 100 euros, for an RX 6600 with 8GB of VRAM you pay around 200 euros. The RX 6500 XT will be cheaper, but is only recommended to a limited extent.

The recommended requirements are slightly higher with the GeForce RTX 2080 or Radeon RX 6700XT and are more in the middle tier.

What alternative is there? You can also play Dragon's Dogma 2 on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series It is not yet known whether you can use your friends' pawns from other platforms via cross-play.
