There the United States is considered the world’s leading economic power with a share of 83 percent. China represents only eight percent of the votes. On the other hand, China is the clear winner in most parts of Europe, Australia, Africa and the Americas, even in the US, where 66% say they rate Chinese technology as above average, compared to just 56% who voted for the US. .

When asked which country performed best across all criteria, the United States was far ahead. Only Nigeria (80 to 74 percent) and Kenya (72 to 71 percent) consider China ahead. The Hungarians (44 to 42 percent relative to the United States) were unable to make a clear decision. In other states, the US lead ranges between six and 62 percentage points.
