Qawale is an abstract game released by GiGamic in 2022. The game targets two people who want to have a duel. Here you can see if the game, which only requires one page of instructions, turned out fine.

When I first read the rules of “Qawale,” I remembered that there was a cross between “Tic Tac Toe” and “Connect Four.” At the same time, the stacked game pieces are reminiscent of the piles of stones often found on beaches that were skillfully stacked by skilled people.
But don’t worry, skill is not necessary for this game. The shapeless wooden blocks can be stacked very well and this is the main motor task in this game. The strategic part consists of stacking and gradually placing the stones in such a way that at the end a vertical or diagonal line is formed from four stones of your color. Whoever does that wins the game.
A new tile is placed each round and can only be placed on top of an existing pile. Then the entire stack is taken and the bottom stone is placed on an adjacent square, then another stone on the next square until all are dealt.
