Normally, a Chromebook is pretty weak and way below the system requirements for Diablo 4. He posts a picture of his procedure on reddit. But with Xbox Remote Play activated, he can easily play a few rounds of Diablo 4 in the car.

Play Diablo 4 in the car thanks to Remote Play

How does the trick work? At home he started his Xbox Series X/S and is playing Diablo 4 here. Thanks to the Remote Play feature, he can then access his Xbox remotely. So he streams his Xbox game from home straight to his Chromebook. Of course, this requires a fast and stable internet connection. Without the Internet, neither streaming nor Diablo 4 will work. You cannot play Diablo 4 offline.

Does this work for us too? Yes, you can also use Xbox Remote Play with us without any issues. In theory, you could boot up your Xbox Series X with Diablo 4 in the morning and then play Diablo 4 on your phone on the subway on your way to work in the morning. In practice, going online would probably put a wrench in the works.

Basically, this also works for PS4 or PS5. Here the service is called PS Remote Play. You can then stream your PlayStation console to your phone or tablet, and then you can also play Diablo 4. Stable internet is also a mandatory requirement here.
