Starfield offers hundreds of hours of gaming entertainment
Is Starfield any good? We don’t know yet. Is the range huge to huge? looks like it. At least, this is how you can summarize the current state of knowledge about the game that will be released on September 6th. Now Pete Hines, president of Bethesda Publishing, has spoken out and said he’s nearing the 200-hour mark on his current Starfield game and hasn’t even remotely finished the game.
As part of the official Gamescom stream of X-Box “There’s no amount of time after which I can say: I’ve played enough Starfield now to understand what it is,” Hines said. I’ve put in 150-160 hours on my current run, and I haven’t made it yet. Once close.”
Last year, Starfield director Todd Howard said the main mission alone takes 30 to 40 hours, but that’s not the real appeal or scope of the game. Now, Heinz confirmed that it was impossible to describe the Starfield’s size. “There are so many things I didn’t do on purpose,” Heinz says. We try to tell everyone how great the game is, and people who play it often tell us, “Yeah, that was no joke.” I can’t believe how big it is. No matter how you want to play, there’s a lot to do in this game.”
Hines says Starfield is more than just a game – and he literally means: “It’s like I’m playing a bunch of different games in one game and I can decide for myself how much time I want to spend like you’ve never seen in Fallout or Skyrim.”
