Asus shrinks TUF Gaming from 3.65 to 3.2 slots

Somewhat surprisingly, Asus has now introduced a revised version of its well-known TUF Gaming (OC) custom design based on the Nvidia Geforce RTX 4090 and in particular has given a hand to the ultra-wide dimensions of the graphics card. The graphics card’s cooling concept, which previously measured 3.65 slots, has been reduced to 3.2 slots, but not only has the overall height been reduced.

Asus downsizes the TUF Gaming Geforce RTX 4090

While the original custom design, the Asus TUF Gaming Geforce RTX 4090 with dimensions of 348.2 x 150.1 x 72.6 mm (L x D x H) occupies a total of 3.65 slots in the case, the revised custom design shrink graphics card, which goes by the TUF Gaming OG name, size 325.9 x 140.2 x 62.8 mm (L x D x H).

Like one of Chris Weavers, a spokesperson for Asus and the Asus ROG, shows an image posted to Twitter. Asus has described an apparent slimming diet for TUF Gaming OG. Compared to TUF Gaming, TUF Gaming OG feels more compact and delicate.

Specifications do not change

However, the specifications of the graphics cards do not change, even in the most compact design, as the official data sheets show. The boost clock, TDP, and power supply via the 16-pin PCIe (“12VHPWR”) connector are the same as the original TUF Gaming (OC) Series models.
