Linz/Hangzhou. Following the successful launch of Deep Space at the West Bund Museum in Shanghai, Ars Electronica Solutions has now also installed an immersive exhibition room in the new M511 Cultural Complex in Hangzhou.
“Deep Space is not just a unique technical infrastructure, but a comprehensive strategy for immersive experiences,” said Michael Mondrea, Managing Director of Ars Electronica Solutions, on the occasion of the opening of the second Deep Space in China. “A space is created here where virtual worlds bring people together. Whether it is 3D audio-visual artworks, masterpieces such as Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper, distant galaxies, live visualizations of concerts or interactive games – the immersive potential of space Abyssal and limitless.
The new M511 Center is located in the Shi Shi Valley. Once home to the iconic Zhejiang Film headquarters, M511 has been transformed into a multi-functional complex for digital content production, immersive experiences and intelligent user interactions. Deep Space, developed by Ars Electronica, is one of the main attractions at the new cultural center in Hangzhou, China.
