Arnold Schwarzenegger He achieved a milestone in a lifetime this weekend – but he doesn’t really want to talk about it… Instead, focus on his late mother, with a very touching tribute.
The former California governor and legendary movie star hit Saturday 7-5, garnering tons of acclaim online and elsewhere… with everyone wishing him a 75th birthday. Of course, it’s due – but AS’s mind seems to be elsewhere now.
Today, my mother, Aurelia, was going to be 100 years old. She was the best mom you can imagine and I will always love her. I can’t explain how much she meant to me, but she’s the number one reason I don’t call myself self-made. pic.twitter.com/jCXSdx9S2N

On Friday – the day before Arnold himself’s birthday – he posted a memory of his mother, Aurelia, who he said would have turned 100. He explains how much his mother meant to him when she was alive, and what she taught him growing up that he still supports her today.
Arnold wrote, “Today my mother, Aurelia, was turning one. She was the best mother you can imagine and I will always love. I can’t explain how much she meant to me, but she is the number one reason I wouldn’t describe myself as self-made.”
She showed me unconditional love, the importance of keeping my house clean, how to make the perfect meal, and patience. Lots of patience. Make sure to tell your moms how much they mean to you! pic.twitter.com/pBffsRbCUy

Aurelia died while visiting her late husband’s cemetery, Gustav, in her native Austria in 1998. She collapsed during the visit after suffering a heart attack – and despite being taken to the nearest hospital, she died.
She made a huge impact on Arnold at the time, who was a Hollywood star at his peak… He said his world was shattered, and it’s clear that his mother’s death still means a lot to him today.
He wants to celebrate it, and the world wants to celebrate it… Just celebrate Schwarzeneggers in general this week, because they have given us so much. happy birthday!
