Fans of classic games can rejoice: the Antstream Arcade service is now also available for XBox.
Antstream is dedicated to preserving legacy games for all consoles. The catalog currently includes over 1,400 games that originally appeared on 19 different consoles. At 358, most games come from the Commodore 64. But there are also games for the NES, SNES, and even the Playstation 1. Titles that originally appeared for MS-DOS are also represented. The creators are constantly expanding the library and it can be assumed that soon other systems will be added.
In addition to the ability to relive old titles on PC or XBox, Antstream has also included additional activities such as tournaments, achievements, and daily challenges. Co-op games can be played together in couch co-op. Available titles include classics like Mortal Kombat 1, Earth Worm Jim, Metal Slug, and of course, Space Invaders.
If you want to access the library, you can choose between two models. Either a monthly membership for €29.99 per month, or a lifetime membership for a one-time fee of €79.99. Both can be Xbox Store can be purchased.
