UN resolutions prohibit North Korea from launching ballistic missiles of any range. Depending on the design, these missiles can also be equipped with a nuclear warhead. According to information from the Japanese government, North Korea has once again identified three maritime danger zones where missile debris could fall. She added that two of them are located west of the Korean Peninsula and the third is located east of the Philippine Island of Luzon. The three areas are located outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone.
