“Promoting Care – Breaking Barriers” is the topic of a specialist conference on Friday 11 August in Göttingen. The focus is on how aids can help with amputations, for example. In the run-up to the event, Malte Bellmann from Ottobock will talk about the opportunities that new technology brings with it.

Göttingen. The German Association for Vocational Assistance (DGIHV) is organizing a specialist conference in Göttingen on Friday. In the Alfred-Hessel-Saal of the Historic Building of the Lower Saxony State and University Library (SUB), Göttingen University, Papendik 14, lectures on the topic “Oversupply – Removing Barriers” are scheduled from 10 am. Malte Bellmann, Professor of Orthopedic Technology and Biomechanics at PFH Göttingen and Director of Research Biomechanics at Ottobock, will speak in advance about the possibilities and opportunities that technical development brings to people with physical disabilities.
