To solve the carbon dioxide problem, the federal government prefers to capture, liquefy and store carbon dioxide under the North Sea. This process is called carbon capture and storage (CCS). Electrical energy consumption for this purpose reaches 700 kWh/ton of CO2. However, carbon capture and storage is controversial, expensive, energy-intensive, and there are still many unanswered questions, especially when it comes to safety (seismic risks, gas leaks). An abandoned oil or gas field in the North Sea contains about 100 million tons of carbon dioxide. This means that a new underground waste disposal site using CCS must be found 7 times a year.

The Federal Ministry of Economy plans to pump a total of 50 million tons of carbon dioxide under the North Sea using CCS technology by 2040. However, this amounts to less than 0.5% of Germany's total carbon dioxide emissions and does not solve the climate problem. In any case.

Using Biogas-Fond's CO2 emission control technology, carbon (C) and oxygen (O2) are separated from each other, thus following a more climate-friendly solution approach, which is called carbon capture and utilization (CCU). The process requires less than 60 kWh/ton of electrical energy from carbon dioxide. Technology not only solves the climate problem in the most effective ways. Meanwhile, valuable raw materials can be obtained in this process, for example to make organic fertilizers, building materials, synthetic fuels or electronic fuels.

In addition to South America, there are already many other contacts with interested parties from all over the world from the biogas, cement, steel, chemicals and ceramics industries interested in the biogas financing process. Bavarian Prime Minister Hubert Ewanger is also enthusiastic about the process and regularly inquires about the status of the startup. The company is currently working on producing the series.
