Asus has started promoting the next-generation version of its gaming smartphone and is trying to kick off the hype campaign for the Asus ROG Phone 8 with a first teaser. The manufacturer has already announced its new smartphone via SMS service X – Twitter previously.
The manufacturer has not yet revealed any official information about the technical specifications of the Asus ROG Phone 8, but what is expected is Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with a frequency of 3.3 GHz ARM Cortex-X4, and five Cortex-A720 with a frequency of 3.0 to 3.2. GHz and two Cortex-A520 @ 2.3GHz plus 16-24GB LPDDR5X RAM with up to 9600 MT/s. The OLED display used must also support at least 120Hz.
In addition to the choice between 60, 90, 120 or 144 Hz on the internal display, Qualcomm’s top SoC can be used for the first time on external displays at 240 Hz with Full HD (“1080p”) resolution. QHD+ (“1440p”) can be used on a smartphone’s image display at the highest refresh rates.
Snapdragon Game Supersolution (“GSR”) aims to do something similar to AMD’s first generation FSR technology and ensure more frames per second on a smartphone.
