Appointment of new members: strengthening the advisory board TGZ – Ilmenau

“It is very important to me that young people find a stimulating start-up environment and are encouraged to start their own business, but also to take care of them on the way there, thus also contributing to the creation of new jobs in the area, young families in Ilmenau, and thus easy location factors can also be expanded I very much look forward to serving on the TGZ Advisory Board and will try to bring in experiences and motivation from my extensive professional environment in which I travel,” says Tobias Riemann.

Ilmenau Mayor Daniel Schulthes is pleased with the appointments as a shareholder representative: “The TGZ Advisory Board performs an important function of advising both shareholders and the General Manager. We depend on him and therefore we are in a very constructive exchange with this body. Young entrepreneurs in particular need our special support in order to gain a foothold locally. TGZ fulfills this support function very well. However, the terms and requirements are constantly changing. Schulthes said the advisory board has its central job here, because it’s so broad, technically excellent, and always familiar with the existing framework.
