The aim of the expansion and renovation is to enhance the feeling of “offline gaming”, i.e. playing without having to constantly be connected to the Internet. Markus Kreiner, Director of the Retro Gaming Museum in Vienna and Carinthia: “These days, you are almost forced to be online and accessible all the time. The Gaming Museum is a journey through time for young and old while older generations reminisce, and younger visitors discover The wonderful world of retro games. With us you can not only learn a lot about the history of video games, but you can also experience them and give yourself a break from the hectic daily life online, whether it is with family, friends or colleagues.”
