With new books by Kat Minchik, Zadie Smith, Nora Bosong – and Bachmann Competition Winners
On Sunday, June 20, the annual Bachmann Reading Competition ends: we summarize this year’s Klagenfurt year and present the winners.
With the wonderful painter Kat Minchik, we go to the Caucasus – and to her flower garden in Brandenburg.
The British Zadie Smith again shows herself as a brilliant political narrator in the short story volume “Grand Union”, and very clever political and literary texts have been published by Nora Bosong: “Tomorrow too.”
We also celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the legendary poet and editor of the SDR radio article, Helmut Heißenbüttel, and present Hans-Ulrich Treichel’s new novel: “more beautiful than ever”.
