(Bloomberg) — Wells Fargo & Co. It has appointed Credit Suisse veteran Michael Kamras as managing director of real estate, gaming, lodging and entertainment, according to people familiar with the matter.
Kamras will join after a period of garden leave and will report to Randy Williamson, head of that business, known as REGAL, at the San Francisco-based bank, said the people, who asked to remain anonymous because the move has not been announced. publicly.
Based in Los Angeles, Kamras was most recently head of Credit Suisse’s REGAL operation in the US, according to his LinkedIn profile. He joined the firm in 2004, FINRA records show.
Kamras worked on transactions for companies including DraftKings Inc., Caesars Entertainment Inc. and Playtika Holding Corp., according to securities filings. He also advised Diamond Resorts International Inc. regarding its sale to Hilton Grand Vacations.
A Wells Fargo representative confirmed the appointment and declined further comment. A Credit Suisse representative declined to comment.
A slew of senior bankers at Credit Suisse left the company during and after its merger with rival UBS Group AG earlier this year. Dean Decker, who also focused on gaming transactions, has joined Banco Santander SA.
