Google announces the June 2023 Pixel security patch! Pixel 4a and later are getting a software update including a new Drops feature – S-MAX

The Pixel series comes with software updates that fix security patches and bugs every month, this month’s security patches for Android are 4 Critical, 52 High, 5 Unrated, a total of 61 Pixels, there are 7 Critical, 5 High, 108 Average for a total of 120. In addition, the update contents in the Pixel series other than security updates are as follows.

In addition, KDDI, which sells Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro phones, Okinawa ‘au’ mobile phone service and SoftBank ‘SoftBank’ mobile phone service, announced the initiation of software updates, and au file updates. Size and update time are about 470MB to 2.3GB and about 40 minutes for the Pixel 7 Pro, about 460MB to 2.3GB and about 40 minutes for the Pixel 7, and about 260MB to 1.9GB and about 40 minutes for the Pixel 5, respectively. Like Google, there is no information on the Pixel 6 series of phones, so it seems distribution hasn’t started yet.

– Improvements for syncing a work or communication profile account between specific apps

– Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented NFC from turning on until the device was restarted

System
– General improvements to system stability and performance in certain circumstances

– Fixes an issue that sometimes prevented eSIM from being activated in certain circumstances*[2]– General improvements to network connection stability and performance in certain circumstances

– Added an option to disable the PIN entry animation on the lock screen
– Fixed an issue causing app titles to appear truncated or broken off occasionally in the app drawer
Fixes an issue causing certain grouped notifications to appear rounded in the corners
Fixes an issue causing tinting or shading on the app drawer in certain circumstances
– Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the device to become unresponsive after quickly locking and unlocking
– Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the keyboard to appear when navigating to the home screen
Fixes an issue that sometimes caused lock screen notifications to overlap with the lock icon
– Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the lock screen to display the charging status when the device was not connected to the charger
– Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the notification area to appear hidden or blank in the notification shade
– Fixed an issue that sometimes caused notifications to overlay outside the boundaries of the Notification Center
– Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the volume controls pane at the bottom of the screen to break off
– Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the background to disappear when opening or closing the notification shade
– Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented the display of the keyboard when expanding Notification Center
– Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented the mobile network icon from appearing in the status bar
– Fix for an issue that sometimes prevented the quick settings buttons from responding to touch input
Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented quick settings from being expanded when scrolling down
Fixes an issue that sometimes prevented setting up a work profile account to start during the first setup
