Three new QLED TV series from Hisense provide gaming and pure entertainment

Hisense expands its TV product range and brings us three new QLED TV models for entertainment and gaming. New 4K TVs are now available in sizes from 43 to 75 inches.

The A7KQ and E7KQ series open up Hisense’s QLED segment, while the E7KQ PRO represents the tentative spearhead. The flagship E7KQ Pro model is also likely to attract the most attention with its specifications. They are all based on an LCD screen with Quantum Dot material, the VIDAA operating system, and support established standards such as Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

E7KQ Pro in 4K @ 144Hz via HDMI 2.1

The E7KQ Pro supports 4K video signals up to 144Hz, and also supports Dolby Vision IQ smart picture mode. UHD AI booster is available for lower resolution content. But 4K QLED TV really shines when processing native 4K signals. Gamers in particular should be happy with the 120/144Hz panel. PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X are connected to the TV via HDMI 2.1 and all components automatically switch to game mode via ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode). Depending on the inch size, the TV should only have an input delay of 11.6ms. We think this value will be lower for 120/144 Hz games. VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) with HDMI-VRR and AMD FreeSync are also supported.

Like many of its competitors, Hisense has now introduced a handy Game Bar menu that lets you change the most important settings on the go. For live sports, there is a special sports mode that adjusts the brightness, contrast, color, and sharpness of the signal source. The improved ambient effect in this mode is intended to provide a true feel of the stadium. By the way, it is controlled through the user interface of VIDAA U7 Smat TV, which gives the user access to important streaming providers such as Netflix, Prime Video, Disney +, Youtube and many more. Granted. Voice control (Amazon Alexa and VIDAA Voice), AirPlay 2, Homekit, and many other convenience functions make the E7KQ PRO a multi-talent in the living room.

The A7KQ and E7KQ 4K QLED TVs inherit most of the features of the E7KQ Pro. However, the devices are “only” equipped with a 60Hz panel, but continue to support UHD AI upscaling, 4K content with HLG, HDR10, Dolby Vision, as well as Dolby Atmos 3D audio. But you have more choices in serving sizes. The devices are available in 43, 50, 55, 65 and 75 inch sizes. By the way, the only difference between the A7KQ and the E7KQ is the design of the stand. The A7KQ features a center mount, while the E7KQ has two V-shaped side mounts.
